What style of wedding photography do you shoot?

My photographic style is a mixture of documentary and directed photography, which uses the light and the landscape to the best artistic effect.

I help people who aren’t used to being photographed to relax in front of the camera, and this produces very natural looking images.

What areas do you cover for wedding photography?

Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Limerick and Tipperary.

Do you charge extra for travel?

No.

Can we meet with you before our wedding to make a plan for our day?

Definitely yes. I think it is really important to meet within a month of your wedding day to work out a timeline for the day and to go over any important “must have” photographs.

I live abroad so it’s not possible for me to meet you until just before our wedding. Is this a problem?

Not at all, a lot of my clients are living abroad; it’s very easy to discuss all the details over a Zoom call.

How long do you stay on the wedding day?

From the grooms and brides preparations until your meal begins, which is between 8 to 10 hours. If you have your speeches before your meal, I will stay and photograph those as well.

Would you stay later to photograph our first dance?

Yes, if booked in advance I stay on to document the speeches, do a creative night shoot after dinner, and cover the dancing for about 20 minutes after the first dance. This is the extended coverage option.

Do you do engagement shoots?

Yes. We can add an engagement shoot on to our pre-wedding meeting, and I can produce a print in a large mount that your guests can sign at your reception.

Do you photograph short wedding days and elopements?

Yes! I have a three hour photography package which covers everything you need on a short wedding day.

How many images will we get?

I spend a lot of time choosing and editing the best photographs from your wedding. This is typically between 750 and 900 images on an 8 hour wedding day. If you add the extended coverage, I will deliver over 1000 photographs.

When will our wedding photographs be ready?

Off-peak in less than 6 weeks, during peak periods 8 – 10 weeks, but you do get a Sneak Peek of over 100 edited images within 48 hours of your wedding. I deliver your images on a website called Pic-Time. You will have a private gallery on there and you can download and share your photographs with your friends and family.

How do we book you?

An email, a WhatsApp message or a DM on Instagram confirming that you would like to book me reserves your date. I will send you a booking form and a contract. The date is secured once your deposit (€200) has been received.

When do we pay the balance?

The balance is payable prior to, of on the day of the wedding at the latest. This is standard industry practice amongst reputable wedding photographers

What happens about our wedding album?

You will usually have chosen which type of album you would like before your wedding, so you just choose the images you would like in your album through the Pic-Time website. I will design a layout and email you the layout for your approval.You can make any changes you like. Once you are happy, I will send the album off to be printed and you will have it around 1 month later.
